South Korea went wild for Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman as the Doctor Who World Tour took on it’s first international leg in Seoul, South Korea.
The two leads were mobbed by fans as they arrived at the airport in the South Korean capital before attending the Deep Breath premiere and a lengthy Q&A session with fans.
Both leads received a range of gifts from the legendarily hospitable South Korean hosts.
Peter Capaldi also revealed at the Q&A who it was revealed the TARDIS to him:
“Jenna was the first person to show me the TARDIS”
His co-star adding:
“I remember saying ‘Shall we go have a look?’ I wasn’t sure if it was something Peter wanted to do for himself.”
And her advice for Peter Capaldi?
“Peter doesn’t need advice. Look at him, he’s cool. Very cool. We feel like The Beatles at the moment.”
Peter answered which ones:
“George and Ringo. I’m George”
And on the new Doctor, Jenna says it’ll be hard for Clara to keep up:
“This doctor is an adrenaline junkie. He is hard to keep in line. He is mad with curiosity. He’s a go-getter and an adventurer and I think Clara finds it very hard to keep up”
The Doctor Who World Tour heads next to Sydney on August 12 and Deep Breath will premiere to the public on BBC One, BBC America and ABC on August 23.
