Actor Jason Flemyng, Peter Capaldi’s co-star in The Three Musketeers, has lauded praise on the new Timelord.
Flemyng, famous for his roles on films such as Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels said:
“The Doctor is a great role, they’ve never had a bad Doctor and he will smash it. He’s going to be amazing, he’s so talented. In the modern Doctor Who, they’ve never cast an OK actor. Every single time, the actor’s been sublime and talented, and that, plus the fact it’s a good role, has turned Doctor Who into a great character”
Meanwhile Capaldi’s Doctor Who co-star Jenna Coleman also praised the Scot while at the NTAs, proclaiming he is ”going to be wonderful” on the show.
In other news Karen Gillan has spoken on her nude scenes in new film Not Another Happy Ending:
“I was really nervous beforehand – naturally I knew I’d have to sit there all day without anything on. Actually it was fine, they strategically covered me up with flesh-coloured bits of material and also it was a closed set so there weren’t loads of crew guys walking around. Everyone was just very respectful, but in the end I’d forgotten I didn’t have any clothes on!”
Not Another Happy Ending features Stanley Weber, Freya Mavo, Kate Dickie, Gary Lewis, Amy Manson, Henry Ian Cusick and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Iain de Caestecker and is available to download 3rd February and on DVD 10th February.
